Our client, a growing wealth management firm, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join its expanding team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys preparing returns, building long-term client relationships, and working in a collaborative environment—without the pressure of business development.
Senior Tax Accountant Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base salary ranging from $135,000 to $165,000, depending on experience
- Hybrid schedule after onboarding (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)

Senior Tax Accountant Requirements & Qualifications:
- CPA license strongly preferred; candidates close to completing their CPA will also be considered
- Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
- Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
- Experience with Canopy tax software is a plus
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy tax seasons
- High level of professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail
Senior Tax Accountant Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including:
- Form 1040
- S Corporation returns
- LLC and partnership returns
- Limited trust returns
- Communicate with clients regarding tax planning and return preparation
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing outstanding service
- Collaborate with the firm's bookkeeping and wealth management teams to ensure a seamless client experience
- Identify opportunities for clients to benefit from additional financial services and make internal referrals when appropriate
