Care Giver/Companion

Care Giver/Companion Benefits & Compensation
- Generous compensation of $38+ per hour
- Stable, part-time schedule (3 days/week, 10-hour shifts, 8am–6pm or 9am–7pm)
- Every Saturday and Sunday required with one additional weekday
- Low-physical-demand responsibilities in a supportive home setting
Care Giver/Companion Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience with in-home elderly care or companionship, especially for individuals with early dementia, preferred
- Calm, patient demeanor with excellent listening skills
- Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and work discreetly in a private household
- Punctual, dependable, and able to provide reliable transportation
- Non-smoker
Care Giver/Companion Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience supporting individuals with mild confusion or memory concerns
- Genuine interest in fostering trust through presence and attentive companionship
Care Giver/Companion Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide calm, supportive companionship with a quiet, unobtrusive presence
- Prepare simple breakfast items and warm pre-prepared lunches (no cooking required)
- Offer gentle medication reminders and assist in locating personal items (e.g., hearing aids)
- Support a smooth, calm morning routine, especially for the wife when needed
- Maintain respectful awareness of household routines and personal space
