Store Manager – New York Flagship
SoHo, New York
This is a unique opportunity to join the founding team of the U.S. operation and play a key role in establishing the brand’s presence in the American luxury market.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead the opening and ongoing success of our New York flagship.
The Store Manager will be responsible for driving store performance, delivering an exceptional luxury client experience, developing a high-performing team, and establishing operational excellence while partnering closely with Global Headquarters in Seoul and Paris.
The ideal candidate is a passionate luxury retail leader with strong commercial instincts, experience managing VIC (Very Important Client) relationships, and the ability to build a new market presence through exceptional client engagement and innovative retail experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Store Leadership & Operations
- Lead the opening and daily operations of the SoHo flagship.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing luxury retail team.
- Maintain exceptional customer service, visual merchandising standards, and operational excellence.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, inventory, and loss prevention.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Sales, Client Development & VIC Engagement
- Drive sales performance and achieve business objectives.
- Analyze KPIs including sales, conversion, ATV, UPT, client retention, and inventory productivity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with VIC (Very Important Clients) through personalized service, styling appointments, exclusive experiences, and proactive clienteling.
- Expand the store’s client base within the New York luxury market.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen client loyalty and create memorable luxury experiences that drive repeat business.
Event Management & Brand Experience
- Plan, organize, and execute in-store events, client appreciation experiences, product launches, trunk shows, and exclusive shopping events.
- Develop creative event concepts that generate store traffic, increase client engagement, and support sales objectives.
- Partner with Marketing and Global Headquarters to execute brand initiatives and ensure events align with the company’s luxury positioning.
- Measure event success through client engagement, sales performance, and key business KPIs.
Global Partnership
- Collaborate with teams in Seoul and Paris across Retail, Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations.
- Provide local market insights to support continued brand growth.
- Represent the company within New York’s luxury fashion community.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of luxury retail management experience; 8+ years preferred.
- Experience managing a luxury flagship, high-volume boutique, or premium fashion environment.
- Strong background in clienteling, VIC relationship management, event planning, and luxury customer engagement.
- Demonstrated success creating client experiences and events that increase traffic, loyalty, and sales.
- Proven ability to achieve sales goals and manage retail KPIs.
- Experience with inventory management, reporting, and operational processes.
- Strong marketing mindset with creativity to develop client engagement initiatives and luxury retail events.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with international teams.
- Passion for luxury fashion, art, and contemporary design.
- Ability to travel internationally for onboarding and brand training.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $120,000–$160,000 annually, depending on experience.
