Assistant General Manager Benefits

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of a high-volume restaurant operation
- Lead daily shifts with a focus on exceptional guest experiences and service excellence
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop hourly team members
- Help create a culture of accountability, hospitality, and continuous improvement
- Drive guest engagement, community involvement, and repeat business
- Maintain high standards for food quality, beverage execution, cleanliness, and overall operational excellence
- Assist with labor management, scheduling, inventory, cost controls, and financial performance
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards
- Collaborate with the General Manager, ownership, and leadership teams to support operational goals and growth initiatives
Assistant General Manager Qualifications
- Proven success as an Assistant General Manager or senior restaurant manager in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Strong food and beverage knowledge with a commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
- Background in independent or chef-driven restaurant concepts preferred
- Understanding of P&L management, labor controls, and restaurant financials
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- ServSafe and TIPS certifications required
