Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented, full-charge accounting professional to join our team, supporting clients in the music and entertainment space. You'll own the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of clients — accuracy and deadlines matter here. This role calls for solid command of financial statements, reconciliations, and accounting software, and you'll work directly with leadership to help clients understand their financial position.
What You'll Do
– Own accounts receivable and accounts payable, keeping invoices and payments moving on schedule
– Perform regular bank reconciliations to keep cash records accurate
– Reconcile specialized touring/production-related accounts
– Work in industry-specific accounting platforms alongside Excel and other tools
– Reconcile general ledger accounts to verify financial data accuracy
– Maintain well-organized financial records and documentation to support audits
– Partner with external auditors on annual insurance-related audits, providing documentation as needed
– Prepare client payroll submissions and route them to third-party processors on schedule
– Review, code, and process credit card transactions
– Monitor insurance coverage to confirm clients are adequately protected
– Serve as a primary point of contact for client staff and traveling personnel
– Stay on top of daily correspondence and support clients and their teams as needs arise
What We're Looking For
– Proven experience in full-charge bookkeeping or a comparable accounting role
– Comfort working across accounting software platforms
– Hands-on experience with AR, AP, bank reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation
– Strong independent work habits and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
– Strong written and verbal communication
– Working knowledge of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and chart of accounts
– Experience in the music/entertainment industry a plus
