A fast-growing, tech-powered, people-first CPA firm in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead engagements, mentor staff, and work directly with clients across a range of industries. This is a hybrid role with real client exposure, visibility with firm leadership, and clear paths to grow.
Senior Auditor Benefits and Compensation:
- Competitive salary: $80,000 to $100,000, based on experience
- Hybrid schedule: In office Tuesday through Thursday, remote Monday and Friday, client sites as needed

Senior Auditor Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 4 to 6 years of progressive audit experience
- At least 2 years in public accounting
- Experience leading audit engagements from planning through completion
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Supervisory experience coaching and developing staff
- Proficiency with audit software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Senior Auditor Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 4 to 6 years of progressive audit experience with at least 2 in public accounting
- Proven ability to lead engagements from planning through completion
- Solid GAAP and financial reporting knowledge
- Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and workpapers
- Supervisory experience mentoring junior team members
- Proficiency with audit software and Excel
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Parsippany with client site work as needed
Senior Auditor Preferred Background and Skills:
- CPA license, or actively pursuing certification
- Public accounting or CPA firm background
- Experience across a variety of client industries
- Familiarity with technology-driven audit solutions, including Thomson Reuters
- Passion for coaching and developing staff
- Client relationship and service orientation
- Process improvement mindset, using technology to drive efficiencies
- Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative
