Restaurant General Manager Qualifications:
- 3+ years as General Manager
- Self-motivated and must be able to work with autonomy
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and highly efficient with time management
- Successful history of P&L management
- $10M+ sales experience
- Solid understanding of independent restaurant management
- High business acumen
Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:
- Interview, hire, evaluate and reward FOH staff and assist Chef with BOH employees
- Set and maintain extremely high service standards
- Build rapport with guests and ensure an organic, enjoyable and memorable experience
- Attend and perform weekly Manager meetings
- Set clear expectations for the team and hold them accountable to meet and exceed high standards
- Entrepreneurial in all endeavors with a view of increasing sales and guest satisfaction
