Finance & Accounting Manager — Ground Floor Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced finance and accounting leader ready to take on a growing team within a high-growth industrial organization. If you've built a strong foundation in accounting — public accounting, corporate finance, audit — and you're already leading a team, this is a true ground floor opportunity to build something and make your mark.
What you'll do:
- Lead and develop a growing accounting/finance team
- Partner with senior leadership on strategy, performance, and reporting
- Cross-functionally partner with sales and operations to drive business results
- Build and own KPIs and reporting that give leadership actionable insight
- Resolve complex operational and financial issues as they arise
- Drive process improvement and operational efficiency across the function
- Deliver executive-level reporting and financial insight
- Build and scale processes as the organization grows
What you bring:
- 3-8 years of true leadership experience — you've directly managed and developed a team
- A track record of stepping into ambiguity and driving results without waiting to be told how
- Solid working knowledge of debits and credits — public accounting, corporate accounting, audit, or general finance background
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems, financial systems, and reporting platforms
- Strong Excel skills — pivot tables, VLOOKUP
- KPI development and reporting experience
- A relentless, ownership-driven mindset — you see a problem and you solve it
- Comfortable operating at a fast pace in a high-growth, high-accountability environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
- Industrial, construction, manufacturing, or similarly hands-on operational background preferred
