Restaurant Manager | Requirements & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a busy urban restaurant leadership role
- Proven success leading restaurants generating $5M+ in annual sales; $8M+ preferred
- Strong financial understanding including how costs effect; labor, food, beverage, and controllable costs
- Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and retain high-performance teams
- Deep understanding of upscale dining, beverage programs, and guest relations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with restaurant technology platforms and operational reporting systems
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Restaurant Manager | Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in busy high demand restaurants, leading service standards
- Strong background in upscale dining, polished casual, or lifestyle-focused hospitality
- History of developing strong service standards while ensuring staff and guests are happy
Restaurant Manager | Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Implement and uphold service standards, operational procedures, and service excellence throughout the restaurant
- Work well with Kitchen and Bar staff
- Maintain a hands-on presence on the floor, engaging team members and guests alike
- Drive continuous improvement across operations, guest satisfaction, and profitability
- Ensure compliance with health codes, liquor laws, and corporate policies
- Foster a respectful, inclusive workplace culture grounded in accountability and professional growth
