Primary Care Physician (MD) – Employer-Sponsored Health Clinic
About the Opportunity
A growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician (MD) to join an employer-sponsored health clinic serving employees and their families. This role offers the opportunity to practice patient-centered medicine in a collaborative environment where quality of care takes priority over patient volume.
You'll provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages while working alongside an experienced clinical team dedicated to improving health outcomes through preventive care, wellness, and evidence-based medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform annual physicals and preventive health assessments.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, disease management, medications, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
- Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
- Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
- Foster a welcoming, compassionate, and patient-focused environment.
- Stay current on clinical guidelines and evidence-based best practices.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
- Active Nevada medical license.
- Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Thorough knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented clinical setting.
