Sales & Design Consultant Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in luxury furniture, interior design, high-end retail, or hospitality sales
- Proven ability to sell to both consumers and trade professionals
- Strong understanding of luxury interiors and furniture
- Experience creating 3D renderings and space plans
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Self-motivated and commercially minded
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and grow new business
Sales & Design Consultant Preferred Background & Skills
- Proficiency with design programs such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Enscape, Twinmotion, Rhino, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Microsoft Office
- Genuine enthusiasm for luxury interiors and design
- Confident presenting to clients and trade partners
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-driven mindset
Sales & Design Consultant Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Drive showroom sales and consistently exceed targets
- Build and maintain relationships with retail consumers and design professionals
- Create 3D renderings, mood boards, and furniture layouts to support client projects
- Advise clients on furniture selection, finishes, lighting, accessories, and styling
- Prepare quotations, follow up, and ensure successful sales closure
- Support showroom events and networking activities with designers and industry partners
