We are seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology to lead all aspects of technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems support for a luxury resort in Palm Beach. This leadership role partners closely with property and regional teams to ensure reliable technology operations while driving innovation that enhances both the guest experience and team member productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the resort's IT strategy, infrastructure, and day-to-day technology operations.
- Manage technology projects, system implementations, upgrades, and ongoing optimization.
- Provide technical leadership and support for hotel, golf, spa, food & beverage, and back-office systems.
- Troubleshoot and support Microsoft 365, networking, cybersecurity, and remote user environments.
- Oversee vendors, IT budgets, hardware procurement, and service providers.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for property technology issues while maintaining high service levels through ticketing and support systems.
- Partner with hotel leadership to identify technology needs and implement effective business solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company standards for infrastructure, networking, hardware, software, and cybersecurity.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5+ years of IT leadership experience, preferably within luxury hotels, resorts, or hospitality.
- Strong project management experience leading infrastructure implementations and enterprise technology initiatives.
- Experience supporting hospitality systems such as Agilysys PMS, InfoGenesis POS, Book4Time, Delphi, SynXis, GolfPro, Nuvola, ProfitSword, Sage, and related hotel technologies.
- Strong networking knowledge, including Wi-Fi, VLANs, switches, DHCP, domain controllers, and structured cabling.
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and endpoint management solutions including Datto RMM, CrowdStrike, Avanan, and IT Glue.
- Familiarity with help desk and ticket management platforms such as Autotask.
