Shift Leader Requirements & Qualifications
- Customer service or food service experience within the FAST FOOD industry
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and influence others
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet minimum legal age requirements for managerial roles
Shift Leader Preferred Background & Skills
- Prior FAST FOOD restaurant experience
- Familiarity with restaurant systems (such as POS, KVS, or scheduling software)
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Shift Leader Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate crew members to deliver consistent performance and top-notch guest service
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring food safety, quality, cleanliness, and speed of service
- Provide coaching, on-the-job training, and support for new team members
- Handle basic cash management tasks and assist with inventory counts and waste tracking
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, driving guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and labor standards while maintaining a safe environment
