Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney – General Liability
A fast-growing boutique insurance defense firm is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its St. Petersburg office. The firm represents clients in premises-liability and construction-defect matters and offers attorneys the opportunity to handle substantive litigation without the overwhelming caseloads commonly found at larger defense firms.

This opportunity is ideal for a motivated attorney who genuinely enjoys litigation, wants greater autonomy, and is interested in building a long-term career with a clear path toward partnership.
Compensation and Benefits
- Total compensation ranging from $135,000 to $200,000+, including a favorable bonus structure and based on experience and skill level.

- Strong advancement potential toward partnership.
- Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and dog-friendly office environment.

- Minimum of 2 years of practical civil-defense litigation experience.

- Strong legal writing, deposition, and case-management skills.
- Ability to independently and proactively manage files.
- Motivated, strategic, and conscientious approach to litigation.

Responsibilities
- Independently manage civil-defense matters from inception through resolution.

- Communicate with clients, carriers, experts, and opposing counsel.
- Evaluate liability and exposure and develop effective litigation strategies.
- Proactively manage files and remain ahead of deadlines and opposing counsel.
