Human Resources Manager

Human Resources Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 5–6 years of Human Resource experience
- Strong knowledge of California labor laws
- Experience managing LOA, FMLA, COBRA, PDL, and PFL programs
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; SHRM certification is a plus
- Experience with union employees a plus
Human Resources Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Previous work with unionized workforces
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Human Resources Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee all recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding processes for new hires
- Serve as the main point of contact for HR issues, investigations, and labor law updates, reporting directly to the CEO
- Monitor and manage workers' compensation claims and EDD matters
- Oversee administration of all leave programs
- Lead negotiations and management of open enrollment and employee benefit packages
