Our client is seeking a skilled and personable Legal Assistant to support their Business Law practice in Dover, NH. This role is ideal for a legal professional with 2–5 years of law firm experience who enjoys variety, client interaction, and working closely with attorneys in a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Open and close client files; coordinate conflict checks and engagement letters
- Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents and case files (electronic and paper)
- Support attorneys with document preparation, correspondence, and pleadings
- Manage calendars, deadlines, and case timelines
- Communicate with clients and other legal professionals as needed
- Assist with general administrative and case-related tasks
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a law firm
- Working knowledge of New Hampshire court rules, deadlines, and procedures
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Experience with Filevine and LMS is a plus (not required)
