An iconic waterfront resort on beautiful Captiva Island is seeking an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the commercial strategy for one of Florida's premier destination resorts.
This executive leadership role will oversee all sales, catering, marketing, and business development initiatives while partnering closely with resort operations and executive leadership to maximize revenue, strengthen market share, and elevate the guest experience.
Director of Sales and Marketing Responsibilities:
- Lead group, leisure, catering, and transient sales strategies
- Develop annual sales and marketing plans
- Drive occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and total resort revenue
- Oversee digital marketing, public relations, and brand positioning
- Coach and develop a high-performing commercial team
- Collaborate with Revenue Management and Operations
- Build relationships with meeting planners, travel advisors, and key accounts
- Analyze market trends and identify new revenue opportunities
Director of Sales and Marketing Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of progressive hospitality sales leadership
- 3–5+ years as a Director of Sales & Marketing
- Luxury resort or destination resort experience
- Strong background in group and leisure sales
- Experience leading sales and marketing teams
- Revenue management knowledge
- Excellent leadership and presentation skills
Director of Sales and Marketing Compensation:
- $185,000–205,000 base
- Quarterly incentive program
- Relocation assistance available
