We are seeking a General Manager for an award-winning upscale steakhouse within a premier luxury hotel in the heart of downtown Nashville. General Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead all daily restaurant operations while ensuring exceptional service and dining experiences.
- Drive financial performance through effective labor management, inventory control, and cost optimization.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing front-of-house team.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, sanitation, safety, and overall restaurant presentation.
- Partner with culinary leadership to achieve operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
- Partner with other departments to ensure success.
General Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of restaurant management experience in a fine dining or upscale steakhouse environment.
- Strong preference for a current restaurant general manager.
- Proven leadership experience managing high-volume restaurant operations.
- Strong financial management skills, including labor, food and beverage cost controls, and P&L accountability.
- ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain).
- Excellent communication, coaching, and team development skills.
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills:
- Luxury hotel, resort, or nationally recognized steakhouse experience.
- Passion for delivering elevated guest experiences and hospitality.
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong focus on culture and employee engagement.
- Experience with wine-driven dining concepts and upscale service standards.
- Organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
