Sous Chef Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all daily kitchen operations
- Lead, coach, and mentor the culinary team while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
- Ensure every dish meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation
- Maintain exceptional food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization
- Implement and reinforce training programs and culinary standards
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and food cost management
- Work alongside the team during service to ensure an efficient and seamless operation
Sous Chef Qualifications
- Previous Sous Chef or kitchen leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for quality, consistency, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Current ServSafe certification (or the ability to obtain upon hire)
