Manufacturing Technician Benefits & Compensation

Manufacturing Technician Requirements & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in cable and harness assembly
- Experience with mechanical assembly and electronics
- Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics, customer drawings, part data sheets, and assembly drawings
- Proven skill in converting engineering drawings into assembled products
Manufacturing Technician Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assemble production custom cables and harnesses according to specifications
- Build custom electro-mechanical systems as required for cable and harness projects
- Interpret customer product drawings to create production-ready parts
- Track all inventoried items relevant to assigned projects
- Conduct quality control inspections on both production and custom electro-mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot wiring, electronic issues, and components—including continuity testing—across production and custom builds
