Produce Procurement Administrator Requirements & Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to occasionally lift produce boxes up to 50 pounds
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience
- Comfortable operating a computer and standard office equipment
Produce Procurement Administrator Preferred Background & Skills
- Bilingual in English and Korean
Produce Procurement Administrator Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create and follow up on purchase and sales orders until successful product receipt
- Check the quality and quantity of incoming produce
- Coordinate with warehouse staff and suppliers to address delivery issues, back-orders, and product returns
- Manage inventory in refrigerated storage and conduct store visits for quality assurance
- Assist with new item forms and sales templates for seasonal or special projects
- Analyze purchasing and sales data for reporting and process improvement
- Perform general administrative tasks within the produce department
