We're partnering with a confidential, award-recognized hospitality group in Charlotte to identify an exceptional Sous Chef.
This chef-driven culinary concept was part of Season 23 of Bravo's Top Chef and offers the opportunity to work alongside a menu developed by a Michelin-selected chef. This isn't a traditional restaurant. You'll help lead culinary execution across multiple dining experiences, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, upscale à la carte service, private events, and catered functions—all within one dynamic hospitality destination.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll partner with the Executive Chef to help lead daily kitchen operations while maintaining exceptional culinary standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading service and supporting daily kitchen operations
- Executing scratch-made cuisine with consistency and precision
- Supporting breakfast, lunch, dinner, upscale dining, private events, and catered functions
- Coaching and developing culinary team members
- Running the kitchen in the Executive Chef's absence
- Assisting with inventory, ordering, receiving, and kitchen cost controls
You'll Be Especially Successful If You Have Experience With…
We're specifically seeking chefs whose recent experience has been in chef-driven, upscale casual or fine dining restaurants where scratch cooking, high-volume à la carte service, and guest-facing culinary execution were the primary focus.
We're especially interested in chefs with experience in:
- Upscale casual or fine dining restaurants
- Scratch-kitchen culinary programs
- High-volume à la carte service
- Multi-outlet hospitality environments such as hotels, resorts, clubs, entertainment venues, or restaurant groups with multiple concepts
- Multiple menus or multiple service periods
- Private dining, on-site catering, banquet production, or event-driven food service
- Candidates with recent experience leading chef-driven, restaurant-focused culinary operations will be most successful in this role.
- Leading service independently while supporting the Executive Chef
- Inventory management, purchasing, ordering, receiving, and BOH cost awareness
- Training, coaching, and developing kitchen teams
