Cafe General Manager Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive base salary ($70,000–$85,000)

Cafe General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience managing and leading single-store unit operations in hospitality or food & beverage
- Ability to work full-time (45 hours/week), including at least 2 peak days (typically Friday–Sunday)
- Proven ability to build, train, and motivate high-performing teams
- Experience with inventory management, labor scheduling, and POS systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
Cafe General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Specialty coffee or café environment experience
- Familiarity with labor management and back-of-house reporting tools
- Passion for customer service and product quality
Cafe General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and develop a motivated team to deliver outstanding service
- Create, publish, and manage staff schedules and payroll coordination
- Oversee inventory management, vendor relations, and ordering
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance
- Ensure high product quality, consistency, and technical accuracy in beverage and food preparation
- Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, gathering feedback to improve service
- Drive team engagement and foster strong ties within the local community
- Monitor financial performance, grow sales, and champion creative initiatives
