Lead HVAC Installer Benefits and Compensation:
- $24.00 to $35.00 per hour based on experience
- Monday through Friday schedule (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

Lead HVAC Installer Requirements & Qualifications
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of residential and/or light commercial HVAC installation experience
- Experience leading installation crews or serving as the lead installer on projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC installation practices, refrigeration systems, and building codes
- Ability to install complete HVAC systems from start to finish with minimal supervision
- Experience performing startup, commissioning, and system performance testing
- Ability to fabricate, modify, and install ductwork
- Strong understanding of airflow, refrigerant charging, electrical connections, and HVAC controls
- Ability to read installation specifications and manufacturer guidelines
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds and work from ladders in various weather conditions
Must Haves
- Lead installation crews while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards
- Coordinate daily jobsite activities and ensure projects remain on schedule
- Verify proper system operation through startup and commissioning procedures
- Record startup readings and complete installation documentation accurately
- Train and mentor junior installers and apprentices
- Communicate effectively with homeowners, teammates, and management throughout each project
- Maintain clean, organized jobsites, company vehicles, and equipment
- Deliver a professional customer experience on every installation
Lead HVAC Installer Preferred Background & Skills
- Residential replacement installation experience
- Light commercial HVAC installation experience
- NATE Certification (preferred, not required)
- Experience installing heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, mini-splits, air handlers, and geothermal systems
- Knowledge of zoning systems and indoor air quality products
- Experience with duct design, airflow balancing, and HVAC commissioning
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to craftsmanship, safety, and doing the job right the first time
