We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead day-to-day operations of our upscale dining experience. This role requires a hospitality-driven leader with strong fine dining experience, advanced wine knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s performance including team leadership, guest satisfaction, financial performance, operational standards, and vendor partnerships. This individual must lead by example, create a culture of accountability, and ensure every guest receives an elevated dining experience.
General Manager Qualifications
- 3+ years of General Manager experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of wine service, wine lists, and pairings
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
- Strong understanding of P&L management, labor control, and cost of goods
- Experience maintaining high service standards and guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead from the floor
General Manager Expectations
- Maintain accountability for P&L performance
- Manage labor costs, cost of goods, and operational expenses
- Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability
- Drive sales through service excellence, team engagement, and local market awareness
