A growing hospitality group is seeking a General Manager to lead a new Italian-inspired upscale steakhouse opening within a full-service hotel in Midtown Manhattan. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader to build a high-performing team, drive financial success, and deliver an exceptional guest experience in a polished dining environment.

Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of General Manager experience in upscale, fine dining, or steakhouse restaurants
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, labor, and cost controls
- Proven leadership experience with team development and performance management
- Hands-on operator with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence
Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience opening new restaurants or leading upscale concepts
- Passion for coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ownership mentality with the ability to balance operations, people, and profitability
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional service and operational excellence
- Lead, coach, and develop front- and back-of-house teams while fostering a positive culture
- Drive financial performance through effective labor management, inventory control, and P&L oversight
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor, building guest relationships and ensuring an outstanding dining experience
