Kitchen Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Full-service upscale scratch kitchen restaurant experience required
- Must be eligible for and maintain a SIDA badge to work in the airport
- ServSafe Certification required
- Must maintain applicable state health and alcohol compliance card
Kitchen Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Customer- and hospitality-focused, with a passion for training and team development
- Strong understanding of food cost, inventory, and process improvement
- Effective communicator who motivates teams and leads by example
- Ability to ensure quality, consistency, and speed in a high-traffic environment
Kitchen Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations for a full-service airport restaurant
- Ensure all brand, operational, and health standards are maintained
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen and service staff to deliver excellent guest experiences
- Monitor food costs, inventory, and quality control processes
- Represent the restaurant within the airport, maintaining high visibility and a positive reputation
