General Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of full-time restaurant experience, including prior supervisory responsibility
- ServSafe Manager Certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Successful completion of required management training program
- Professional presentation, strong work ethic, and personal integrity
- Demonstrated ability to hire, train, and inspire high-performing teams
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills:
- Passion for fresh food and exceptional customer service
- Capability to create a positive, motivating culture
- Strong communication and conflict resolution abilities
General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and develop assistant managers, supervisors, and hourly staff to deliver best-in-class guest experiences
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including scheduling, employee relations, inventory, and cash handling
- Uphold company standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness
- Monitor sales, control costs, and ensure profitability targets are met or exceeded
- Foster a cohesive work environment where every team member feels valued and heard
- Address guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Perform administrative tasks including payroll, ordering, and compliance with company policies
- Ensure proper preparation, storage, and handling of all menu items, especially pizza dough and oven operation
