General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of General Manager leadership experience in restaurant operations.
- Proven track record in financial management and cost control.
- Strong communication and team-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellence floor presence with guests.
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in training and developing staff.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking software.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent problem-solving abilities.
General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Front-of-House and Back-of-House operations.
- Ensure all shifts and events are adequately staffed based on projected sales.
- Deliver superior service and promptly address guest incidents and complaints.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager on menu changes and specials.
- Conduct monthly P&L reviews and fiscal reporting with the Director of Operations.
- Lead employee recruiting, training, and performance reviews to foster team development.
