CNC Milling Operator | What You Will Do
- Operate 3-axis, 4-axis, 4-axis horizontal, and 5-axis CNC milling machines on established jobs
- Perform wear offset adjustments and tooling changes within approved procedures
- Identify, replace, and document worn or broken tooling
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, go/no-go gauges, and other precision measurement tools
- Assist setup machinists with fixture installation, tool loading, part proving, and first-piece preparation
- Troubleshoot tool wear, surface finish, chatter, burrs, chip evacuation, and dimensional variation issues
- Record job data, labor time, part counts, lot control, and quality information in the ERP system
- Support and train less experienced CNC operators on standard operating practices and inspection methods
CNC Milling Operator III | What You Bring
- Minimum of 3 years of precision CNC milling experience
- Experience operating across multiple axis configurations preferred
- Strong blueprint reading ability
- Working knowledge of GD&T interpretation
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges
- Ability to make controlled offset adjustments and perform tooling changes accurately
- Strong communication skills with operators, machinists, quality personnel, and supervision
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to comply with U.S. export control regulations without employer-sponsored authorization
