CNC Machinist
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce quality metal components to customer specifications. This is a hands-on machining role in a clean, organized shop environment. Programming experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Verify part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production standards
- Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications
- Maintain a safe and orderly work area
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience
- Experience with machine setup and operation
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Experience machining aluminum and other metals preferred
- HAAS experience is a plus
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
