We are seeking a CNC Milling Operator to support daily production on approved CNC milling jobs in a precision manufacturing environment. This role reports to a lead machinist or supervisor and focuses on operating 3-axis and 4-axis CNC milling machines, maintaining part flow, following documented work instructions, and supporting quality standards throughout each shift.
This is a strong fit for someone with foundational CNC milling experience, basic blueprint reading ability, and comfort using precision measurement tools. The right person will be detail-oriented, dependable, and interested in building a long-term career in precision manufacturing while continuing to develop skills in inspection, shop math, and advanced milling operations.

CNC Milling Operator I | What You Will Do
- Operate 3-axis and 4-axis CNC milling machines on set-up and approved production jobs
- Load and unload parts according to work instructions, inspection plans, and traveler requirements
- Perform basic in-process checks using calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges
- Complete part cleaning, deburring, and packaging tasks as required by job travelers
- Identify and escalate part defects, machine alarms, tooling issues, and process abnormalities to the lead or supervisor
- Record labor, part counts, lot control, and quality data accurately in the ERP system and required paperwork
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout each shift
CNC Milling Operator I | What You Bring
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools in a production shop environment
- Familiarity with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges
- Basic blueprint reading knowledge
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions accurately and consistently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and production standards
- High school diploma, equivalent diploma, or GED required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to comply with U.S. export control laws without employer-sponsored authorization
