Join our team as the CNC Milling Operator and take full ownership of production milling operations on a variety of established jobs. Reporting to shop supervision and working alongside setup machinists and quality personnel, you will operate multi-axis CNC milling equipment, maintain part quality, and ensure accurate production output in a precision manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for a mid-level CNC machinist who has hands-on experience with precision milling and multi-axis equipment, and who wants to build on their technical skills in a structured production environment, as well as long-term stability and growth with a company that values quality and process discipline.

CNC Milling Operator II | What You Will Do
- Operate 3-axis, 4-axis, 4-axis horizontal, and 5-axis CNC milling machines on established jobs with limited supervision
- Perform intermediate part inspection using calipers, micrometers, go/no-go gauges, and other precision measurement tools
- Make basic wear offset adjustments and perform routine tooling changes per documented procedures
- Follow work instructions, inspection plans, and traveler requirements on every job
- Identify and escalate tool issues, machine alarms, process variation, and part defects before nonconforming parts are produced
- Record job data, part counts, lot control, labor time, and required production documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting production efficiency and quality standards
CNC Milling Operator II | What You Bring
- 1 to 3 years of precision CNC milling experience in a production manufacturing environment
- Intermediate blueprint reading ability with basic GD&T interpretation
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection methods
- Ability to recognize tool wear, poor surface finish, chatter, burrs, and dimensional drift
- Strong communication skills with setup machinists, leads, quality personnel, and supervision
- Ability to follow documented procedures, inspection plans, and production requirements with accuracy and consistency
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored authorization
