Personal Lines Insurance Marketing Specialist – REMOTE
**This is a 100% remote role for qualified and P&C licensed Personal Lines Professionals who have experience quoting in multiple states**
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Personal Lines Insurance Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our policy remarketing and retention strategies. You will work closely with Producers, Sales Executives, and Account Managers to evaluate client portfolios, secure competitive alternatives for renewals and non-renewals, and meet the daily marketing needs of our customers. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical proficiency with carrier rating systems and a passion for finding the best coverage solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Policy Remarketing & Retention: Proactively remarket personal lines policies for Producers and Account Managers, across both standard renewals and carrier non-renewals.
- Client Evaluations & Proposals: Analyze existing client insurance programs, identify coverage gaps, and leverage alternative options based on price and protection. Present tailored proposals and finalize sales.
- Internal Consultation: Serve as a subject matter expert by providing technical assistance and strategic counsel on personal lines matters to Sales Executives and Account Managers.
- Prequalification & Data Gathering: Perform high-level prequalification of prospective and existing clients by gathering necessary account data required for precise personal lines rating.
- Pipeline & Report Management: Routinely manage critical task reports, including expiration lists, carrier non-renewal lists, and market consolidation reports.
- Rating Systems Expertise: Maintain a high level of proficiency using carrier proprietary websites and comparative rating software to deliver fast, accurate quotes.
- Market Knowledge: Stay up to date on carrier appetites, coverage forms, underwriting guidelines, and rating changes to effectively address client needs.
- Growth & Cross-Selling: Help quote and place incoming new business from referrals, call-ins, and web leads on an as-needed basis. Actively refer cross-sell opportunities to our commercial, life & health, financial, and banking divisions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in NY, CT or multiple states.
- Experience: Proven experience in personal lines insurance operations, underwriting, or marketing.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency with comparative raters (e.g., EZLynx, PL Rater) and major insurance carrier portals.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of personal lines products, coverage forms, and the remarketing lifecycle.
- Attributes: Strong analytical skills, exceptional proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
