A leading manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee inventory control and material flow within a high-volume plant environment. This role is key to ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting production continuity, and driving operational efficiency.

Preferred: Background in automotive or aerospace manufacturingA growing manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Materials & Logistics Manager to lead inventory management, production planning, logistics, shipping/receiving, and material flow operations within a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

This leadership role is responsible for ensuring material availability, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery performance, and continuous improvement across the supply chain. The ideal candidate will bring a strong manufacturing background, proven leadership experience, and a passion for driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all materials, logistics, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and production planning activities

• Manage inventory levels to support customer demand and production schedules

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing principles

• Develop and maintain material flow strategies, replenishment systems, and inventory management processes

• Monitor and improve KPIs including inventory accuracy, inventory turns, fill rates, material variance, and on-time delivery

• Partner with Operations, Production, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient material flow throughout the facility

• Lead logistics and transportation activities, including carrier management and freight optimization

• Supervise and develop team members across materials, inventory, shipping, and receiving functions

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards

• Support ERP-driven planning and inventory management processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required

• Manufacturing experience required

• Experience leading materials management, logistics, supply chain, inventory, or production planning functions

• Prior supervisory or management experience

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is highly preferred

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

• Advanced communication and leadership skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• $90,000 – $110,000 base salary
