Superintendent Requirements & Qualifications
- 10+ years of field construction management experience as a lead superintendent
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Experience with retail, hospitality, automotive dealerships, or other commercial projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
Superintendent Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee all work performed at the construction site, ensuring safety and quality standards
- Direct daily on-site supervision of field labor and subcontractors
- Execute and manage the project schedule and budget, maintaining constraints and resolving issues
- Review plans, inspect work, and ensure all specifications and project requirements are met
- Communicate and enforce the Safety Program, leading by example
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
- Attend and participate in project meetings, providing progress and safety reports
