In this high-impact role, you will manage 5–8 projects at a time—from base plans and permitting through construction and community build days—ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification. You will play a key role in transforming underutilized land into thriving green spaces that support long-term sustainability and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee contractors and infrastructure installation (water, irrigation, solar).
- Manage permits, zoning compliance, and project documentation.
- Translate design intent into buildable plans and field execution.
- Track budgets, schedules, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, suppliers, and community stakeholders.
- Support public engagement throughout the construction process.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in landscape construction, design/architecture, and/or park development (degree preferred).
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from design through completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction documents, permitting, and field coordination.
- Must be able to read and interpret site plans
- Experience with CAD and Adobe Creative Suite (GIS a plus).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Passion for sustainable design, urban agriculture, and community collaboration is essential.
