Director of Operations Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, operations, engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial services
- 5+ years in a leadership role
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated project management experience
- Lean experience required
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Director of Operations Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead regional operations teams to deliver concurrent safety projects with a focus on safe, profitable, and timely completion
- Provide direct oversight of operations and project management, emphasizing execution, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Drive integration of systems and people during mergers and acquisitions
- Champion change management and implement continuous improvement processes and lean principles
- Mentor and develop emerging leaders within the organization
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, estimating, engineering, safety, and supply chain teams
- Own operational budgets, margin performance, P&L accountability, and cost control
