General Manager Fine Dining Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years as a general manager in an upscale or luxury steakhouse environment
- Proven success managing multi-million-dollar annual revenues
- Experience overseeing multiple revenue streams, including main dining, private dining, and bar programs
- Strong wine knowledge paired with a track record of elevated service standards
- Demonstrated ability to build and develop senior management and leadership teams
- Deep understanding of P&L, cost controls, and EBITDA performance
- Comfortable operating in a high-expectation, guest-focused environment
General Manager Fine Dining Preferred Background & Skills
- Expertise in wine program management and VIP guest relations
- Experience with chef-driven culinary concepts or luxury restaurant groups
General Manager Fine Dining Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide full operational leadership of a high-volume luxury steakhouse
- Lead, develop, and mentor executive chefs, FOH management, and senior team members
- Drive revenue growth while safeguarding brand standards and guest satisfaction
- Maintain exceptional guest experiences and manage VIP client relationships
- Oversee labor strategy, cost controls, and inventory management
- Ensure service excellence through ongoing training and culture development
- Partner with ownership on growth initiatives and strategic planning
