Operations Controller
Salary: $84,000–$104,000 DOE

A well‑established gaming and hospitality organization is seeking an experienced Operations Controller to lead daily revenue audit operations and ensure full compliance across all gaming and non‑gaming revenue areas.
Role Summary
The Operations Controller oversees daily audits and reconciliations for Gaming Machines, Cage/Vault, Food & Beverage, Retail, and Kiosks. This role prepares revenue journals, manages monthly reconciliations, maintains tax reporting accuracy, and supports internal and external audits. The position also supervises and develops the revenue audit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily revenue audits, reconciliations, and variance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements.
- Prepare and review daily and monthly revenue journal entries and Blackline reconciliations.
- Maintain statistical reporting and monitor exceptions or control violations.
- Manage semi‑weekly IRS EFTPS deposits and monthly reportable tax balancing.
- Support audit requests and implement corrective actions.
- Lead, train, schedule, and mentor Revenue Auditors.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of gaming revenue audit experience.
- 3+ years in financial management or equivalent experience.
- Strong regulatory knowledge and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with casino systems.
- Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
