A growing full-service accounting firm with a strong forensic and litigation division is seeking a Senior Business Valuation Associate to join its Business Valuation team. This role focuses heavily on valuation of privately held businesses, particularly in high-net-worth divorce and complex litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business valuation engagements from start to finish
- Develop and apply DCF models and comparable transaction analyses
- Normalize financial statements and assess industry conditions
- Value intangible assets
- Support litigation matters, including economic damages calculations
- Present findings clearly to leadership and clients
Qualifications:
- CPA firm experience performing business valuations required
- Strong financial modeling expertise (advanced Excel)
- Experience valuing private businesses
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferred
Preferred Credentials:
- ASA, ABV, CVA, or CFA
