Coffee Roastery Manager

Roastery Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Passion and enthusiasm for specialty coffee
- Minimum of 5 years of Management experience
- Strong motivation with a positive, solutions-focused attitude
- Proven time management and task prioritization skills
- Strong problem-solving ability with hands-on activities
- Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment requirements
- Proficiency with Google Docs and digital organizational tools
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds (weights over 50 pounds with assistance)
- Ability to perceive the taste and smell of roasted coffee
- Effective communication with employees, vendors, and clients
- Ability work a flexible work schedule, inclsuiding weekends
Roastery Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee roasting, packaging, and shipping operations in a 1,500 sq ft roastery
- Oversee all safety protocols and ensure product quality
- Build and maintain relationships with grocery clients and specialty partners
- Coordinate and participate in local events, primarily on weekends
- Manage Green Bean sourcing and purchasing for the roastery
- Develop and distribute specialized marketing kits to partners, content creators,
- Hire, train staff, and evaluate performance.
