Morning Sous Chef – Daytime-Focused Schedule
Location: Tampa, FL
Salary: $63,000 – $70,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits
A growing hospitality group is seeking a Morning Sous Chef to support daily kitchen operations in a high-volume, chef-driven restaurant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a culinary leader who is looking for better quality of life, with a primarily daytime schedule and limited evening commitments.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Supporting daily kitchen operations during high-volume service
- Leading and coaching back-of-house team members
- Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Assisting with prep production and line execution
- Supporting inventory, ordering, and kitchen organization
- Ensuring food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Assisting with scheduling and labor management
- Supporting occasional evening events (3–4 per month)
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Experience in a high-volume, scratch kitchen
- Strong work ethic and team-first mindset
- Ability to lead from the line during busy service
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Passion for training and developing kitchen teams
Preferred Background
Candidates with experience in the following environments will stand out:
- Brunch or breakfast-focused concepts
- Upscale casual or chef-driven restaurants
- High-volume kitchens (500+ covers)
- Hotel or multi-outlet kitchens
