We are scaling retail, ecommerce, digital content, and community under one unified vision. As we grow, we are seeking a strategic yet hands-on Vice President of People who can build the infrastructure to support expansion without losing the entrepreneurial edge that fuels success.
Vice President of People Benefits and Compensation:
• Competitive base salary: $140,000 to $160,000
• Open to relocation candidates, assistance provided on a case by case basis

Vice President of People Requirements & Qualifications:
Must Haves:
• 8 to 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience
• Proven experience scaling a multi-location retail or retail adjacent organization
• Demonstrated success building compensation frameworks, leveling architecture, and performance management systems
• Experience designing workforce planning models to support store or location expansion
• Strong operational judgment with the ability to introduce structure without stifling culture
• Experience coaching senior leaders, founders, or creative operators
• Comfort operating both strategically and tactically in a high growth environment
Day to Day Ownership:
• Architect scalable people systems across retail, buying, ecommerce, content, product, and corporate teams
• Design clear career pathing and internal promotion frameworks
• Define what great management looks like and build leadership capability standards
• Implement performance systems that balance accountability with development
• Partner with retail leadership to elevate store manager effectiveness
• Oversee payroll, benefits, multi state labor compliance, and policy infrastructure
• Translate company values into measurable operating behaviors
• Standardize onboarding and employee experience across stores and departments
• Define hiring standards and talent acquisition processes
• Build compensation philosophy including incentive structures for performance based roles
Vice President of People Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience integrating multiple brands or business units into one cultural framework
• Background supporting both brick and mortar and digital or media driven businesses
• Experience building people infrastructure in founder led organizations
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across diverse functional teams
• Data driven mindset with experience using HR metrics to inform business decisions
