A growing real estate operations organization with multiple business lines is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to serve as the senior financial leader across all entities. This is a strategy and capital-focused seat that focuses on capital structure, banking relationships, cash forecasting, FP&A, risk management, systems strategy, and long-term planning. The ideal candidate understands how capital, cash, debt, risk, P&Ls, and growth fit together across multiple business lines and can serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, ownership, and division leaders.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including 3+ years as a CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent
- Experience leading finance for a multi-entity company, ideally in the $20M–$100M revenue range
- Direct experience in real estate, hospitality, property management, brokerage, vacation rentals, or a similar multi-business environment strongly preferred
- Strong capital structure, cash flow, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, P&L, lender reporting, and covenant compliance experience
- Experience managing banking relationships, debt relationships, credit facilities, and outside financial partners
- Experience leading or sponsoring ERP migration, ideally from QuickBooks Desktop to a mid-market ERP
- CPA or MBA preferred
- AI-forward mindset with willingness to use AI and technology to improve reporting, forecasting, analysis, and finance operations
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior financial leader across multiple entities and business lines
- Partner with the CEO, ownership, and division leaders on capital decisions, growth strategy, profitability, and long-term planning
- Own capital structure, capital allocation, banking relationships, debt relationships, lender reporting, and covenant compliance
- Build and maintain the 13-week cash forecast, annual cash plan, annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and 3-year financial plan
- Deliver consolidated FP&A, variance commentary, business performance insights, and financial recommendations to leadership
- Serve as executive sponsor for M&A activity, acquisition evaluation, diligence, integration planning, and entity structure decisions
- Own financial risk management, insurance programs, fraud controls, and strategic tax planning with outside advisors
- Lead financial systems strategy, including ERP migration, and use AI/tools to improve finance operations and decision-making
