An established precision manufacturing organization is seeking a Customer Relations Manager to serve as the primary commercial contact for their customer base. This role sits at the intersection of customer service, order management, and internal coordination, working directly with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Management to keep customers informed and orders on track.
Customer Relations Manager | What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on quotes, purchase orders, order status, and commercial inquiries
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships that support retention and growth
- Enter and manage quotes and purchase orders accurately and on time
- Expedite and update order status using milestone tracking and scheduling tools
- Coordinate between customers and internal departments including Engineering, Production, Quality, and Management
- Follow up on open quotations and provide feedback to the estimating team
- Conduct in-person customer visits on-site and at customer locations as needed
- Support marketing initiatives including presentations, brochures, and website content
- Operate with awareness of QMS requirements, quality policies, and product conformance standards
- Contribute to continuous process improvement within the customer service function
Customer Relations Manager | What You Bring
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in customer service or sales
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple customer priorities simultaneously
- Familiarity with order management or ERP systems a plus
- U.S. work authorization required
