Luxury Hotel General Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Provide total property leadership and operational oversight
- Manage profitability across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and event/conference operations
- Develop and execute annual budgeting and forecasting strategies
- Monitor financial performance and drive GOP optimization
- Maintain elevated guest service standards consistent with luxury hospitality expectations
- Lead talent recruitment, development, and retention strategies
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Oversee preventative maintenance, safety, and risk management programs
- Collaborate with ownership, talent leadership, and department heads
- Support community engagement and mission-focused programming
Luxury Hotel General Manager Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive hospitality leadership experience
- 5+ years in senior hotel leadership roles such as Hotel Manager, Resort Manager, or General Manager
- Strong Food & Beverage operational leadership experience (required)
- Full-service luxury or upscale boutique hotel experience preferred
- Proven P&L management and forecasting expertise
- Multi-department operational oversight (Rooms + F&B required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred
