Wedding & Events Coordinator Responsibilities
- Manage wedding and special event inquiries, conduct venue tours, and prepare proposals and contracts
- Guide clients through the entire planning process from initial inquiry through event execution
- Coordinate wedding tastings, event timelines, floor plans, invoices, payments, and guest counts
- Serve as the on-site coordinator for weddings and events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences
- Collaborate closely with culinary, food & beverage, and service teams to communicate event details, vendor information, BEOs, and operational plans
Wedding & Events Coordinator Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of event planning experience; wedding planning experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, food & beverage service, and event management best practices
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with event management or POS systems preferred
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and client relationship-building skills with a polished and professional presence
Successful coordinators can realistically earn $90,000–$100,000+ annually, with top performers exceeding that range through wedding bookings and event revenue growth!
