Senior Sales Trader Benefits & Compensation

Senior Sales Trader Requirements & Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience trading environmental commodities
- Direct experience in LCFS and/or California compliance carbon markets
- Proven track record driving profitability and revenue generation
- Existing, portable client book (target $700K to multi-million in annual gross revenue contribution)
- Deep understanding of California environmental regulatory frameworks
Senior Sales Trader Preferred Background & Skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable in a dynamic, growing office
- Experience trading derivatives (particularly ICE-listed contracts) is a plus
Senior Sales Trader Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Originate and execute transactions in California’s environmental energy markets (LCFS, CCA, derivatives)
- Manage and expand an existing book of business to grow revenue
- Deliver pricing intelligence and regulatory insights to clients
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with market participants including refiners, fuel suppliers, utilities, and energy producers
- Identify structured and derivative trading opportunities within environmental markets
- Support the long-term growth and team buildout of the Los Angeles office
