Inside Sales Representative
Dayton, OH | Full-Time | On-Site
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team in Dayton, Ohio.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, supporting sales efforts, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring accurate order processing from start to finish. The successful candidate will be highly organized, comfortable working in Excel, and capable of managing multiple projects and customer requests simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Support customers by phone and email
- Prepare quotes and process customer orders
- Enter and maintain accurate customer and order information
- Track orders and communicate status updates
- Work closely with sales, engineering, production, and purchasing teams
- Maintain spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel
- Assist with pricing updates and customer inquiries
- Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping
- Support day-to-day sales and administrative activities
Qualifications
- 2+ years of inside sales, sales support, customer service, or administrative experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or business-to-business environment
- Experience working with an ERP, accounting, or order management system
- Familiarity with quoting, order entry, invoicing, or customer account support
